Configuring BPEL 11g Human Workflow Tasks to work with OpenLDAP

The documentation basically describes the process, but the "trick" is to make sure that the OpenLDAP provider (or Active Directory or whatever 3rd party LDAP that WLS supports) is the 1st instance in the WLS Realm. This is how JPS knows where to get the users, groups, roles from. Its a little quirky, but now you know.

  1. I am having problems doing this in 11g. I looked at that documentation and did the steps of making it the first instance in the realm (as well as changing the default authenticator to be sufficient as well). I get a bizarre error when I attempt to log into the worklist application with a user from my OpenLDAP. If I configure a realm just with my OpenLDAP provider and then attempt to change the worklist application to use that realm I get the same error. And I have recently attempted to configure my ldap as the identity provider in the jps-config-jse.xml with no luck.

The exception I get ends in:

Caused by: java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name com.collaxa.cube.i18n.exception_cube, locale en_US

I have tried reading many of the documents but I am missing something. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Diane

Is it possible that there is some issue with the JDK that you are using?
